Josh Officiates His Second Wedding and We Get "Country!"

Today has been a VERY busy day...just wanted to share with you two wonderful events that kept us busy today.

First, Josh officiated his second wedding this afternoon for Kayla and Erik!! Josh has known Kayla for a number of years. She was in the junior high group at church when Josh was an intern. And he was honored to be asked to officiate their wedding ceremony. They are a delightful couple and we do wish them the best...it will be fun to stay in touch with them.
I'm soooo proud of my husband for doing such a fabulous job with the wedding...he led well and was absolutely HANDSOME!!! Man I got a hot lookin guy!! :-)

After the reception, Josh and I quickly changed into our "country" cow boy and cow girl outfits for a fun night with our Pastors and wives and the Pastor Parrish Committee. The theme was "country" and neither one of us felt we had adequate attire, but the more looking we did in our closets, the more we were able to come up with...basically denim and denim and plaid and then we went out and bought matching cowboy hats!! Such fun!! The Pastor Parrish Committee did such a fabulous job and Josh and I both feel so overwhelmed with their love for us...it's truly incredible how much love and support they bestow on the pastors and their families.
We also played Bunco tonight....a game I had always heard about but never played!! I actually won with the most wins, Pastor Tom won with the most bunco's and Pastor Erin won the biggest looser prize! What a fabulous night!!

And Josh and Andrew got to share a brief dance together...to which Stacy and I are declaring we both REALLY need therapy...

Ah, you've gone country! It's about time. I'm still trying to get my husband to appreciate all things Country!...especially the music!

Love you guys, and miss you!
