A Homemade Christmas
I remember growing up and making all of my own Christmas gifts. There was a special simplicity about that. I poured over craft projects for hours, while watching Christmas movies or listening to Adventures in Oddessy. Life has gotten much busier over the years, but I still long for the simple days. This year I tried to put some time into making at least some baked goods to put in baskets and give away to friends and family. Here's a sampling of what I made. The cinnamon applesauce ornaments were a labor of love that Cheyenne and I made. Ohhh imagine how glorious my kitchen smelled while those were baking for hours! I also made homemade banana bread and included some homemade jams and applesauce.
