Plaid and Pumpkins

I love this little red plaid number on Adelynne. She reminds me of a cute little school girl.

We had a fun weekend in early November. I made these Oatmeal Apple cookies out of a puree of crockpot oatmeal. Addy loves them so much and knows they are "cookies." Mommy is so sneaky because their actually quite healthy for her too!
And I took the plunge and made my own pumpkin puree out of organic sugar pumpkins. The process was a bit long (especially getting the seeds and goop out) but the rewards were fantastic! The puree is great and I'm excited to bake with it.

 Aren't they cute?!
I was telling Josh the other day that I'm so thankful for my food processor! I use it so much these days especially since I made and make food for Addy with it!
And then there's the pumpkin seeds! Josh and I enjoyed that little snack. I roasted them with some olive oil and seasoning salt. They were delish!
 The fruit of my labor:
I decided to freeze the pumpkin in 1 cup bags.
Of course she's ready to go outside to ride in her "caar."
