CHRISTMAS SUGAR COOKIES!!

This year has been so much fun with baking! I've been able to share a few great memories with some significant people in my life, all surrounding my favorite sugar cookie recipe.


I taught Addy how to roll out the dough for her first time this year!

Boy was that a hoot! First of all, I decided the easiest way to do this, since she can't reach the table standing on a stool and sitting on a chair could have been too unsafe, would be to have her sit on my lap with the flour and dough before us. I tried to grab a few pictures of our floury mess on my own, but then Josh came home and made picture taking easier!

The next day, we had our wonderful neighbors over for some cookie decorating, which was more like cookie/frosting taste testing for the babies....but hey, it's all a part of the experience, Clark (cue "Christmas Vacation")!

The next cookie event happened with my adorable nephew and niece who paid us a visit for Christmas this year! Auntie Anna had a blast teaching them how to make the dough, roll it out and I didn't have to teach them at all about decorating because they were pro's!

And lastly, I was delighted to make a batch of sugar cookies with my other handsome nephew! He's three and totally took it all in!

All of my little helpers did great! And I'm so glad I have these pictures to hold these memories forever!
