Here are some pictures from our summer events to help me catch up on blogging opportunities I've missed! A visit from our good friends, The Llanos'! Tiffany and I were roommates in college. It was sooo cool catching up with them then and staying in better touch since then! I've really missed them!

Junior High Camp at Triangle Lake for a week: INCREDIBLE! Aaron Anderson, youth pastor at our daughter church, Mountain View, was the camp speaker. Josh and I taught on Growing Through the Storms and Circumstances of Life. The entire camp theme was GROW.

When we returned from Junior High Camp, we got to spend an afternoon at a Herringshaw Family BBQ. It was fun seeing some more of Josh's family and catching up with those we don't see all that often.

Josh went fishing with his dad and brother for a few days and I headed down to the coast to visit my folks. We both had a wonderful and memorable time with family...much needed. This was actually the first time Josh and I have been apart from each other for a few days!

We watched little Lizzie for a few days while Craig and Gail celebrated their wedding anniversary. Such fun! Lizzie and I spent some awesome sister time together , since Josh was in meetings most of the time. Girl time...oh yeah!

This summer I've also had the priviledge of catching up with some girls we use to have in our junior high group who are now in high school...ahhh I love these girls and miss seeing them more often!

We are starting up a young marrieds group within our young adult group, The Inn. This summer we've had a BBQ and a camping trip with the young marrieds and have also done some different things for the Inn...lots of BBQ's, hangin out, etc.

High School Camp: Mayfield 2009. The theme was EPIC. Pastor Steve Straus from Valley View and Pastor Erin Loftis, our high school pastor, were the camp speakers. Josh and Jake and I led the Rec games. I bought a Bingo set to start the first ever high school camp Bingo competitions during free time! We had a blast. There was also lots of dancing during this week. I captured lots and lots of dancing with the video camera on my camera.

John, our Inn intern, celebrated his birthday. We gathered a group of friends together and ventured down to the ever so yummy Voodoo Donuts!!

Josh and I were able to enjoy a wonderful night with our friends Abby and Steve, who will be getting married in September! Abby was a bridesmaid in our wedding and I'm so excited to be one in her's. Her wedding colors are exactly what I wanted to do for our wedding, except for the purple in our church! haha! We went to a Yankee and Mariner game in Seattle...MY YANKS WON!!!

One of my very good friends, Stephanie (our Mama May) celebrated her 30th birthday. I think she makes 30 look sooooooo good! Steph and her husband Jake have been a huge support for us! We love them dearly. Steph's little girl Miss Emma also turned 5 on the same day as Steph and on the same day as my folks anniversary! Fun little tid-bit...

We are now getting organized for the school year approaching. We changed our youth group name last year from The Dive to LifeWire (more on that later) and we are currently working to get Josh's office and our youth room re-done. Our good friend Dani met with us last week and oh my goodness...what creativity she possesses! She caught the vision for what we have been dreaming up and has completely ran with it! I can't wait to see where the Lord will take us this year! This past year has been wonderful, yet we've also had to work on overcoming a lot. The Lord is forever faithful...He is our Hope! He is our Joy!
