Adelynne Rose Has Arrived!

On August 23rd at 10:17 pm Adelynne Rose came into the world. We had a beautiful birth experience, surrounded by such wonderful nurses, midwives and very supportive friends and family. I wasn't planning on being induced or having an epidural, but all things considered, I'm so thankful that things went as they did. At the end of the day, our baby girl is here and healthy. That's what matters!

I was so incredibly exhausted after giving birth. We had already been in the hospital for a few days and I was running low on energy. I'm pretty sure it was adrenalin that kept me awake all through that first night. I was just so thrilled that Addy was finally here. I stayed up all night with her in my arms. I just couldn't get enough of her. She was so perfect. I couldn't take my eyes off of her.

She was just a few hours old in this photo I snagged with my phone camera.

Here are some pictures we've snagged since she was born. Enjoy!

Right before we loaded our little bundle up in the car to drive home from the hospital...
Nap time with Daddy never was so enjoyable!
Chilling at home: tired mama and baby...
First trip to run errands. Of course we stopped for coffee at mama's old shop!

All dolled up for shopping at Target

She looks so cute and snuggly in her ducky sleeper and hat.

Big YAWN!
 Snugglin with daddy.
Squishy lips when she is trying to wake up.

 Out for our first walk!

One eyed pirate look!

All dolled up for our first date with daddy at a coffee shop.
Mommy and Addy

She made the perfect pose. I think she's praying!

After a few weeks she's finally sleeping on her own in her bassinet. Thanks Auntie Stephy for letting us borrow the bassinet.
Look at those eyes daddy's little princess!
Feeln the affects of being milk drunk...hehehe!
Snugglin' close to mommy in her baby bjorn. She loves this!

These were all taken from my phone within her first month and one week of life! I'll post more soon that Josh has taken and some that our friend did professionally. Stay tuned!
