Top Heavy Baby, Easy Tree

This year's Christmas tree hunt and chop down at our friends Christmas tree farm came on a chilly December day. Addy was all bundled up in layers. Mom should have had more layers on. Of course Addy wanted to walk everywhere, including the somewhat frosty, icy ground all around the Christmas trees. The trees were mostly on an incline so she needed lots of help. Just when we think she had it, we saw our baby gradually bend at the waste and her face met the dirt...three times. However, she shook it off in her brave way and proceeded on until we found the right tree. Her upper body top heaviness was actually a bit comical. But she didn't want to be help. Miss Independent.

I wasn't able to get a picture of all of us in front of the tree, but I did capture a few in between keeping an eye on our top heavy baby. This years tree is just perfect for our front room, which has actually become mostly Addy's play room. I knew we needed a tree that was longer and not so wide. We're quite happy with our find. And this years tree also wins best tree so far because it went right into the tree stand with such perfection, Josh and I are still in shock.
