Little Miss and I have both been fighting a cold the past few days. We're hoping to be on the mend in time to celebrate Thanksgiving!! Today was the best yet. And, I figured since we're cooped up we might as well make the most of it!
I decided, thanks to Pinterest inspiration, that making some edible finger paint would be a good idea! All it takes is sweetened condensed milk and food coloring. With Christmas music playing in the background, I decided on just two colors for today's activity: red and green. First I tried putting the "paint" in a bag to let her make designs with it in the bag (I was thinking let's start with mess free).
When she started to figure out how to open the bag, I moved her to the table and got some paper out! She had so much fun getting messy with it!
Her first picture!
Not pictured is what we did next: I moved her to the bathtub and we painted it red and green and then she was so happy to scrub it all away and then start fresh! What a character! I didn't have my camera up there when we were painting, unfortunately.
Meanwhile, I decided a fort underneath the kitchen table seemed like a marvelous idea!
The fort was complete with pillows, blankets, tea pot, tea cups and books!
The muffins! On the left is the Peach Cranberry Raisin Muffin and on the left is the Carrot Applesauce Muffin. Addy loved them both.
